How to Create Your Own 90-Day Plan 

Here’s how you can start using this proven method to reach your biggest goals: 


1. Define Your BIG Goal (Be Specific!) 

The first step is to get crystal clear on what you want to achieve. Instead of a vague goal like “get in shape” or “grow my business,” define it with specific, measurable outcomes

Bad Goal: "I want to be healthier." 

Great Goal: "I will lose 10 lbs and run 3 times per week for 30 minutes." 


Bad Goal: "I want to make more money." 

Great Goal: "I will increase my income by $5,000 by signing three new clients." 

Tip: Use the SMART goal framework—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. 

 

2. Break It Down into Monthly Milestones 

Now that you have your big goal, break it into three smaller milestones—one for each month. 

For example, if your goal is to write a book in 90 days, your milestones might look like this: 

Month 1: Outline & write the first three chapters 

Month 2: Write the next three chapters & edit 

Month 3: Finish writing & polish the final draft 

Each milestone gives you clarity & direction, making your goal feel achievable. 

 

3. Set Weekly Action Steps (Stay on Track!) 

Now, turn your monthly milestones into weekly action steps. These are small, specific tasks that move you forward. 

If your goal is to increase income, a weekly action step could be: 

Week 1: Research potential clients 

Week 2: Reach out to 10 prospects 

Week 3: Follow up & schedule 3 sales calls 

Small steps lead to big results. 

 

4. Track & Adjust Every Two Weeks 

Progress isn’t always linear—that’s why regular check-ins matter.

Every two weeks, ask yourself: 

  • What’s working?

  • What’s NOT working?

  • What adjustments do I need to make? 

If something isn’t working, adjust and pivot instead of giving up!
